The Bovington Boy
This project is based on my interest in WWI. After collecting poems, stories, and documents about Shakespeare's hometown, Bovington town, and Devon during the first wartime, this short story is finally generated. In 1914, the news of a political person being killed in Europe was like a storm reaching Britain. Like thousands of young men, a lad from Bovington wished to prove his braveness on the battlefield. But what he had experienced was a friend loss, an eye injury, and homesickness in cold trenches. While he was missing home, a shot from the enemy ended his young life.
